Ask any golfer if they could change one thing about their golf experiences and you'll hear the same thing over and over - "I wish I would have started at an earlier age". The sad fact is that there just are not many kid-friendly places to play. Many courses are too difficult, too crowded, and too intimidating for a young player to have a good experience. Not so at Eagle Run.
For kids ages 7-17. Eagle Run's Junior Golf Program has been the most popular youth program in Omaha since its inception in 1994. Young upstarts cut their teeth on our par 3 Meadows course, while more experienced players graduate to the executive Links course. We promote the best aspects of the game - fun, sportsmanship, integrity, and respect for the game and other players.
Registration begins March 1st. Play runs for 8 weeks beginning the week of June 10th and concludes the week of July 31st. Players can choose to play on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays and tee times are flexible. $85 registration fee for the Meadows and $110 fee for the Links includes 8 weeks of play, weekly prizes, a year-end tournament, and comes with a gift package.

Over the years Eagle Run has quietly develped one of the most successful Junior lesson programs in the city. With over 250 junior lessons taught by our instructors each season, it’s not hard to see why we have become Northwest Omaha’s premier teaching facility for kids. We pride ourselves with simple, easy to understand instruction. Our emphasis is on good swing fundamentals that are the key to having a successful golf swing that will last a lifetime.
Lesson topics will include: Full swing - Short game - Putting. All lessons will be held at the Stone Creek golf course located on 156 St. between Fort & Ida. Lessons are for Juniors 5-7 & 8 years old and up. Lessons are one hour in length and we try to maintain a student / teacher ratio of 7:1.
